Summer institute in mathematics (SIMU) in Puerto Rico June 15 - July 29, 2002

 Deadline: February 28, 2002
 This one is for Chicanos/latinos/Hispanics and Native Americans from the US, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories.
 The dates of the 2002 program are June 15 - July 29.  Information and applications for the 2001 program can be obtained by clicking on the SIMU 2001 button above.  
 The seminar leaders/research advisors and research topics for SIMU 2001 are:
  Ricardo Cortez from Tulane University will direct twelve students in research projects in the Computational Mathematics Applied to Fluid Motion, and
 Victor H. Moll from Tulane University will direct twelve students in research projects in the area of Integrals: An Introduction to Research in Mathematics. Professor Moll was a seminar leader/research director in SIMU 2000.
